As an outsider to the US you clearly have a fuuked up opinion as to what democracy actually is.
Trump CLEARLY wants to totally control ALL branches of our government, proof is the selections of real asssholes like RFK jr to be the head of health here, where that POS pushes BS conspiracy theories and such BESIDES putting a dead baby bear inside Central Park or cutting off the head of a dead whale with a chainsaw and carrying it on his car for a couple hundred miles. Yep, nothing wrong with RFK jr, right?
Or Matt Gaetz as FUUKING ATTORNEY GENERAL?
Do you maybe get the implication of that particularly bad, VERY bad, choice for AG?
Like the pesky fact our branches of government are equal and independent?
But Trump HATES that idea, which he has shown time and time again.
He has said the power of presidency should be INFINITE and putting in Gaetz as AG, a person who clearly gives total fealty to Trump and Trump alone, don't you get it? That means Trump takes over yet another branch of government on his way to taking over ALL of it, ruling EXACTLY the same as Putin, his best buddy and mentor.
HINT: We actual adults here vehemently fight that effort by Trump to be literally a dictator, which is EXACTLY what Trump wants.
Then there is the idea of firing ALL 50,000 fed workers, civil servants and replacing THEM with Trump 100% loyalists.
I guess you figure that should be the right of a president, take control of yet another part of government previously independent and not EVER to be considered under the control of a single person.
So serious question: Do you think it is ok for Trump to take over ALL branches of the government and to be the ONE person calling the shots over all three branches JUST LIKE PUTIN DOES NOW?

If somebody ran as a real presidential candidate running on a dictator platform for real and out in the open, what would you say his chances are in any democracy anywhere in the world to actually win?
Trump desires to be a dictator and that should be obvious to anyone with an IQ over 60 but do you seriously think he would actually run with that goal as his stated platform?
