I guess he will be standing tall in jail now, shouting to all the OTHER inmates how great his former boss is.

The sentencing for Contempt of Congress is one month minimum and 12 months maximum.

A fine of no more than 100k and no less than 100 dollars.

@Beowulf
Don't worry, when he gets out to the waiting crowd he will scream POLITICAL HIT JOB because the whole world is against my lord and savior King Trump.
Don't forget, guilty on TWO counts so double your offer.

@sonhouse

They will run concurrently and not consecutive so it'll just be like one conviction.
It's also Federal so he's going to a country club federal prison low security, possibly a camp that doesn't even have walls.

Practically a vacation.

@Beowulf
And a brand new Trumpite martyr.

@sonhouse

I don't know anything about him or even what he did for work.
I just looked up the sentencing.
Wasn't he some white power guy during Trumps time in office?

@Beowulf
He was a WH strategist for a while, here is one news report about him:
https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2022/07/leaked-audio-steve-bannon-trump-2020-election-declare-victory/

It shows clearly he knew exactly what Trump was thinking. And why he is taking the bullet for Trump as we speak.

Bannon’s sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 21 when he will face a mandatory minimum prison sentence of 30 days and up to one year behind bars. He could also be fined $100 to $100,000. He is expected to appeal.

He'll go to Lompoc or Eglin,
country club prisons, if he gets any time at all.
Just looked it up, apparently Eglin was closed in 2006.
Anyhow, Bannon need not worry for his personal safety as you or I
would, had we been convicted of ANY FEDERAL CRIME.

The internet says he lived in DC and kind of didn't have an address. Whatever that means. 🤷

In the Feds prisons you are usually placed within 500 miles of your home, if possible.

He's a high priority inmate so he may go anywhere. It'll be a country club no doubt.

That too.

A fine and probation.

I read it could be up to 2 years in prison.

Sadly, he's too ugly to be a prison bitch.

@vivify
Too bad about that......
