@averagejoe1 saidWhat's laughable is you think that it's harder to use signature identification than photo ID. Signatures can change somewhat, but people make far more radical changes to their physical appearance (men grow beards, women color their hair, etc.).
Compared by my daughter, who volunteers as a precinct watcher? She is a Dr for god sakes, there is NO WAY That she could compare signatures and verify that they are the same signature.. What a laugh.,, this is laughable marauder
Anyway, that's the procedure in NY, so "laugh" all you want.
Absurdly, the Georgia law requires a photo ID for an absentee ballot.
@no1marauder saidthe new law gives ga residents 3 months to file absentee...how long does NY give?

@no1marauder saidYeah, Marauder, we've heard it from you.....All the legislators who have pored over this issue are just stupid!!! That you say THAT is laughable.

BTW, the law has been quite misconstrued by the media, that is why you are hearing the word backlash, etc. It is quite different than all the posting on this website make it out to be. Looks like we conservatives are having the last 'laugh'.
@averagejoe1 saidThe legislators who "studied it" were all Republicans incensed that the People of their State had the temerity to vote for a Democratic President and two Democratic Senators.

The link I provided gave specific language from the bill, so I haven't "misconstrued" it.
@no1marauder saidyou are misconstruing now...rinos, not republicans

@no1marauder saidSo, am I hearing you say that the law about voting should be Just Wide Open, no ID required, illegals can vote in this country for people who run the country.....Are you hearing this...this is what you want Marauder. And, it makes sense to you for a guy wearing a Biden or AOC T shirt to hand water to voters in line? You think that that is acceptable,,,when you know that it is not?

OR, OR, do you think voting laws should maybe be a few pages long, explaining the restrictions required to provide for orderly and governed voting??? Just a question, and please save the links for Duchess.
@averagejoe1 saidStop your lying; no one said "illegals" should be able to vote "in this country".

The law Georgia just passed is 98 pages, not a "few", long.
@mott-the-hoople saidGeorgia had multiple hand counts of the ballots that confirmed the results.
The bottom line with all this is...they know they cheated...they have to keep everything they can to make cheating possible.
There is no valid reason a person cant possess a valid ID...you people look like fools trying to complain about this.
Rather than making voters jump through hoops to exercise their fundamental right to have a voice in how their society is governed, five States do it this way:
"Every voter receives a mail-in ballot by default. Voters may submit completed ballots by mail or deposit them at designated drop-boxes and drop-off locations. In-person voting is available to all voters at designated voter service and polling centers.[2]"

@no1marauder saidHa, idiot😆😆😆! You lot who say ‘no ID’ are in effect saying that an illegal fence climbing covid-laden Mexiican or Yemenite or Iranian can wwlk into a precinct and VOTE!!! Jesus. Libs.

@no1marauder saidwithout an ID, how do you know where the voters are from?
No, we're not and if you're not a complete idiot you know it.
@no1marauder saidthey recounted the same ballots...no ballots were examined to see if they were fraudulent. A judge has just ordered the ballots to be examined...raspenberger is fighting this. a rino
