My wife and I often stay in Naturist resorts on holiday. The availablity of naturist centres and beaches plays a large part in planning a European summer holiday.
I'm constantly surprised that bathing in the nude isn't the norm in society in general.
Like most things you get what you pay for.
Where there is competition standards are driven up - for example on the West Coast of France there are some wonderful campsites which have bungalows. There are also good inland sites near rivers in France. I haven't stayed at any centres outside France. last year I visited a friendly centre in Corsica.
There are naturist beaches all over the world but there is ofetn a gay culture associated with many beaches in the UK.
so france is the place to go you think? I always thought that if I went to somewhere in the uk there would be alot of gay people there and maybe wouldnt feel as comfortable if it was a mainly gay area to go. Im friends with quite afew gay people and am comfortable with them, but I wouldnt know what it would be like to be naked in their company, that might test the nerve abit but im not sure
