So you are ok with Trump and his son in law getting LITERALLY 5+ BILLION, gee, for nothing, no return expected, at least financially since Jarhead has used his several billions given to him by the Saudi's, and usually you expect some financial return but Jarhead has returned ZERO, not a fluking PENNY, but sure has taken his 30 million a year cut which will be even more considering he now has FIVE billion thanks to SA.
You want to bitch and moan about corruption but you seem to think if a POTUS steals some silverware and takes it home, that is just as bad as Jarhead getting LITERALLY 5 BILLION for NOTHING, money wise anyway, but those JUICY contracts, I bet the Saudi's get REAL special treatment now......

Well, all right then, think of it as a contract. There’s an implied contract when you walk into a supermarket and come to the cash register. The implied contract is that you get goods in exchange for a medium of exchange. Well, the same thing occurs between a citizen and the state. The citizen pays taxes, and there’s an implied contract. The state will provide certain services, including infrastructure.

For one, Suzi, that does not take tax dollars to have been given.

Now, are we "entitled" to our paycheck?, Suzianne?? Once you say payroll tax is ok - even when *forced* ,
it's all over. the pigs go on a wilding. You see NYC what is going on there? City income tax.

And I'm sure the citizens enjoy that extra tax, too. sigh

Some countries DO give money to unemployed, not unemployment insurance, but a minimum wage to start with, then a job gets you even more.
