Conservatives make me laugh in a cynical, sad way.
They do everything in their power to make it hard for the common people to raise children, keep immigrants out, constantly mouthing off about how people who can't afford it shouldn't have kids, doing everything in their power to concentrate wealth and income into the hands of the wealthy at the expense of the masses, and then Elon Musk and Tucker Carlson whine about how people aren't having children and how the human species is going to go extinct.

When I was a kid, we said people like Elon Musk bred like Mexicans (or Irish) - without restraint or planning. It was something shameful. Civilized American people planned their families and made sure they could financially support them. You were supposed to marry the mother of your children and stay with her for the rest of your life.
But I guess if you're rich you can breed like that and it's simply natural healthy obedience to your limbic system. His single Mom girlfriend doesn't get harassed by conservatives for having kids without being married either. She and Musk are no different than our 14 year old Mexican neighbor who got pregnant before she was married and went on to have 9 kids with 3 different men. The difference is that Grimes is white and her baby daddy is rich which somehow makes it socially acceptable.

Yes, I often say don't have children if you can't afford them. Do you think someone who cannot afford children should have them anyway??????? These questions are so simple, I don't know why you get so angry and not respond to the questions. maybe you have more children than you can afford? Is that MY fault? Jesus.
Now, we get to that pesky concept of the successful. Yes, we, know, you think the successful should support those who are not. Yet, you never make a case for it.
Please respond to the above answers that I have posed, together with my ensuing questions, and then start a thread on what to do about the job creators and investors. You do not seem happy with them, and have even suggested that their wealth was acquired at the expense of those to whom they have provided jobs, and opportunities.
Here is a solution. Tell guys who are about to get rich to shut down their factories!!!! They will not get rich, and be in the same boat as the guys who were working there. They can then join the blue collars and all go find a job.....somewhere.

There is a significant difference between people who have kids that they are able to properly support without state assistance, and people who have kids they cannot support.
*Of course saying the ultra wealthy are "without State assistance" is doublethink considering it is not possible to be that wealthy without government support from police etc
And of course how much money you have should be irrelevant to the people who blame single mothers for society's ills and insist people get married before they have children.
