You will when a few thousand of the damn things go off. Don't worry, you are right in the trade wind path so you WILL be hit with radiation. I advise building an underwater house, maybe take over a submarine, preferably nuclear powered.

New to this thread...is anyone else disturbed that all these electronic gee-gaws are made by our adversary, China, and they could be planning something really deep and nefarious? The Chinee...they are in it for the long game, plan decades and even generations in advance, while we worry about people's pronouns and such.
If China flooded the market with electronic phones/pagers/radios and remote-controlled gadgets of all sorts they could destroy the West in a week if they started exploding and starting fires simultaneously..

Try to think about the common Chinese people V the Chinese government.
It is the same with Israel, me and my family lived there for years in Jerusalem and think NatenYAHOO is a POS who should be in jail but that has nothing to do with my dear friends we made while we lived there, we are just folk musicians but I am high tech and worked as a contractor at Intel in Jerusalem but we fell into the folk music crowd there and have life long friends now. I wrote a tune for Jill Rogoff, a great musician on her own.
