What exactly is a "new" American ?
Is that a newborn baby who came into this world today ??
Explain that to me. On the other hand, never mind.
It was just another dumb to say....
I think it would be cool for each of us to define, in simple terms, fascism. It gets thrown around a lot. Silly me, I think that the Democrats are the fascists. Am I wrong?

Why are you trying to divert the conversation? Seems strange to a non American. Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube have a history of banning someone en masse. Alex Jones springs to mind.

I'm not diverting anything. Why do you think these companies should be obligated to allow people to spread lies, hate speech, calls to violence etc?

If I get banned from RHP for posting such things will you speak up for me and insist Russ is violating free speech principles?

If you're not American what does "free speech" have to do with anything? The First Amendment is irrelevant to you.

Make your own social platform if you don't like those companies. Who do you think you are to dictate what software American companies distribute?

With Google banning Parler from the play store, Apple banning it from the app store , and Amazon banning it from their platform. Is this the final nail in the coffin for free speech? Also What argument can Google, Twitter, Facebook et al have for being neutral platforms.
It certainly goes beyond the the Twitter and Facebook ban of Trump. It’s one thing to filter what appears on your platform but another thing for a third party to deny access to any given platform.
Can you still find a link to Parler on google and safari, presumably you can still access links to hard core violent porn on these engines.

-No it's not, you can stand on a street corner and talk all you want, send emails, snail mails, telephone, text's fax's etc. How much more "free speech" do you need?

Also What argument can Google, Twitter, Facebook et al have for being neutral platforms.

-Why don't you ask them? I doubt the people here on Red Hot Pawn are majority shareholders in any of these companies.

Thousand....Thousand.... You think Twitter banning is OK.

The liberal colleges take great glee in telling conservative speakers to get the hell off of our campuses with all their conservative ideas. If you think Twitter deal is cool, it follows that you think this college action is cool. Right???

So square this up for us. Do you think it is OK for an institution of learning to turn away educators that have different viewpoints than do the faculty? Thousand??? You gonna give us a straight answer on this?

Make my own social media platform...like Parler, or Minds? You're kinda proving my point.

Facebook facilitated the rohingya genocide, Google was in process of making a search engine that worked with Communist China's state censorship provisions. These companies are too big, and Are controlling political discourse. When the public square is controlled by Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Google, and Twitter, free speech belongs to big tech. Control of bandwidth comes next.

Facebook is so big most people I know are on there. It will not be easy to get people to migrate to another social media site when they already have one set up and very few people they know are on Minds or Parler.

The censorship should be enough to motivate people now, but if it doesn't happen now we will be stuck with the big tech Stalinists for a long time. Sadly some people like the censorship. They would rather not believe the brutal truth anyway. Helps them maintain blissful ignorance.

are the white supremacists previously discussing plans to murder elected officials on Parler unable to do that over the freaking phone? Was inciting to violence ever protected under free speech?

Are Google and Apple private companies that have 0 fuks to give about free speech? because they are not freaking government agencies?

So what the fuk are you talkin about man? Since when was google EVER required to safeguard your free speech.
