@Kilroy70 saidThank you 4
Trump.
And possibly by a wider margin than even the betting markets are anticipating. Voting has already begun, and with the election only two weeks away it's highly doubtful we might see an October surprise.
The real surprise will come in November
@boonon saidCan't predict. I haven't seen a race this close since Bush v Gore in 2000. We'll just have to wait and see.
Let's all put it out here now.
Who will be the next United States president?
I am genuinely curious. I am not asking who you personally are voting for, but who you think will win.
@mchill saidI wonder. People understand what polling means by now. Supporters of both sides know that to get a bigger turnout, it is important that their candidate looks like the underdog. So some might be telling the pollster the opposite of what they intend, and then the responses all wash out and the result becomes 'very close.'

In reality, I predict Harris by more or less of a landslide. But we shall see.

Why do you think your choice lost / won ?
please be civil,
@sonhouse saidAnd that does not speak well for the Dem candidate, now does it
@boonon
We know who we WANT to win. Another Trump presidency will lead to real disaster, like the 20% tariff, which is just an up front tax paid by Americans and does not punish foreign companies like he touts.
Or putting over 10 million in prison camps prior to deprtation.
Or putting three times the number of children in cages ala Steve Miller.
Or firing all 40,000 civi ...[text shortened]... assume you figure none of that would happen because Trump never says in public what he wants to do.
@Earl-of-Trumps
Oh, it is HER fault that Trump won. Got it. What gets me is the Puerto Rican votes AFTER that assshole comedian said Puerto Rico was an island of garbage and they voted for him anyway. My own daughter in law is Puerto Rican and SHE voted for Trump. I don't get it.
So there goes the Afordable care act, there goes the department of education, then
ten million people in concentration camps and the jobs they had cannot be filled by our work force since most all workers are working. So there goes the businesses that rely on those workers.
Then the 20% or more tariff gets in, all of the above guaranteeing the economy will tank, So much for our economy being the envy of the world.
We have about 2 months before the poop hits the fan and the right wingers who voted for him will not know what hit them till it is WAY too late, just like Hilter in 1938,
Even if Trump is assassinated, no help, VANCE is now POTUS, he is if you can imagine, more right wing than Trump and if they are BOTH assassinated Mike Johnson, the squeaker of the house would be POTUS and he is a card carrying Christian Nationalist who wants the US to become a Christian version of Iran, HIS version of Christianity to be the state religion.
And that is just the barest start of Project 2025 which the right wingers say OH NO, MY GOD TRUMP WILL NEVER GO ALONG WITH THAT.
Right, when Vance wrote the forward for the book by the author of Project 2025.
The cost analysis of putting 10 million people in prison, 88 BILLION per million people so say 12 million in concentration camps, cost 1.2 TRILLION.
The US in 2025, 26, 27 and beyond will be truly fuuked.
Cutting social security, medicaid, medicare, and killing AFA.
And then Trump will make an offer to SCOTUS members they cannot refuse, a nice retirement nest egg to be replaced by folks 40 years younger like Trump pet Cannon, Judge Cannon who is totally loyal to Trump ONLY and she WILL be in SCOTUS as soon as he can get that part done.
What could POSSIBLY go wrong.

Did you ask her why she voted for Trump?
If so, what did she say?
