I believe DoctorScribbles was alluding to Jesus' response from the disciples when asked how often to forgive. 70 x 7=490. 490-1=489. So maybe it does work that way! 🙂

When I said "Things don't work that way", I was referring to the fact that I offered my apologies to persons not to packs.

..... and voting about such an offer is certainly NOT the way things work .... at least not in my book.

That is certainly ironic! I will try to find the passage where Jesus is asked how often we should forgive those who sin against us. He says 70 x 7 which equals 490. I would not interpret it as "490" but rather unlimited.
