Mountain Lions. Cougars. Lots of them. Quite wonderful things. But unlike California, it isn't against the law in Wyoming to prevent them from eating you. It is really quite fun to go out and look for them at night... when they are active. I have come close before, but never managed to get close enough to see them. Just their tracks and the sound of them running. It is quite an adrenalin rush though. Especially if you go with nothing but your mind and body to protect yourself. Great sport.
