Everyone's going to hate her for it, but I bet she's going to torpedo the current bill that Manchin and Schumer are so happy about — on principle, and because it's what her constituents would want her to do.

Probably. Dems already hate her so why not be a hero with conservatives since she already is one?

Only logical move.

Her constituents didn't elect two Democratic Senators to oppose the Democratic agenda.

If Sinema approved it Manchin wouldn't.

Those two are keeping you democraps in check.

So they take turns being the "bad guy"...

I hope she's not teaching any courses this summer, because in that case I would object to the divided attention even though I live in Florida. I'm not her constituent, but her (and Manchin's) votes affect me and all of us.

Also, I wonder if they adjust her Senator's salary to account for the fact that she doesn't work full-time as a Senator.

Her constituents want her to be a proper Democrat, instead of whatever it is that her Republican donors want her to be. Sad thing is, she prefers to follow the money.

Oh good. Two more years of Sinema frowning hard and "doing the right thing."

If a Democrat in Arizona wants a quick ride to the Senate, run against Sinema. She's going to be primaried so hard her head will spin completely off.

@Beowulf
Ah, so you figure putting in several hundred billion into fighting CO2 levels is a waste of time? In spite of the fact the US is the only country left doing ZERO to cut CO2 emissions as it is now, so those dum ass Dems must have their head up their collective asses, right? So for you, NOTHING dems write can be worth a crap BECAUSE they were written by Dems.
It is GREAT you are in Canada and don't vote here.

@Suzianne
So far it is silence on her part, studying the bill? I wonder if that is really the case or is she figuring the best way to kill it? She supported such legislation before, so what is in the cards that would cause her to reject it when it is real this time?

Maybe it's coded invitation for lobbyists to give her their best offer.

I'm studying the bill...hint, hint.

Makes sense.

"Get your bids in now, folks! Only a few days left!"

People should have hated her a long time ago. Biden blamed her for him having to extend Trump's tax cuts. They are the Sinema tax cuts. Biden didn't start scapegoating with Putin and the republicans for inflation. He was doing it long before that.
