Like Jakarta. Gleaming skyscrapers. Grinding poverty. 25% of the city underwater 40% of the time. Fatal heatwaves. Strange insect infestations. Drinking water as expensive as milk.

Maybe it will be recovering from a nasty cold snap that reduced agricultural output for the World and brought up the spectre of another ice age.
Maybe there will be a museum of climate change that has the magazine covers from 1975 warning of global cooling next to the internet headlines from 2005 warning of global warming next to the holographic sky headlines from 2030 warning of an impending ice age right next to a 2050 telekinetic beam warning of global warming.

Wouldn't get enough visitors. Everyone would be going to the museum of Hollywood gossip set up next door.

Hopefully Mad Max, Waterworld was a shocking film.
Originally posted by sh76 By shocking, I hope you mean "shocking that so much money and such a talented actor could be wasted on such a terrible film."
Kevin Costner is similar to Sean Connery............always the same character.....just the names and costumes change.
