A similar situation could be an issue with a pregnant mother being sent to jail for a crime. The fetus is a person according to some states (ie. Texas), but in the situation of a pregnant mother being tried for a crime, the fetus wasn't given due process. It would be unlawful for the fetus to be sent to jail unless they were also found guilty by a jury. 😛

I think pregnant women deserve special consideration, like using the carpool lane or going to the front of the line at the bank, getting a cab, etc.
Unless they've only been pregnant for like, a couple of hours or something.

Funny you should mention that.
I visited Communist Cuba, along with my woman who, at the time, was big with child. We were escorted to the front OF ALL LINES, seated first in restaurants, bus seating is reserved for expectant moms, etc, etc.
..........You are in complete agreement with Communist Cuba's official policy. 😉
