Humans are silly sometimes. What good does it do to pretend that we can persevere against islamo-fascists if we don't fight them with the same intensity and lack of pretense that they employ?

I'm not a religious man. But I do see the logic of the Torah in as much as those who refuse reality in not returning evil to the perpetrator at a higher rate than it was given is stupid and dangerous.
I would as soon cut the fingers (and other parts) off of terrorists just for fun than to deliberately wring our hands in anguish and guilt as we let them ruin civilization. And I do think that barbarians need to be killed and we need to learn to dance in the street with joy when we manage to do it.
If you are wondering about the usage of the Torah by me, it is because Muslims DO believe that the Torah or the Tawrit was given to Musa ( or Moses) but that it has become tahrif. They fight and live their life by the law of moses, and I think it is stupid to not return the favor.

Where are you going to draw the line? A lot of those tit-for-tat societies in history included the policy of "we'll rape your women and you rape ours." Is this on your list of acceptable behaviors as well?

Its called 'the villian advantage'. People without moral values and scruples use any means necessary to acheive their goals. Those with, are encumbered and therefore disadvantaged.
I predict that the US will never win the war on terror unless there are more devastating attacks on US soil and hundreds of thousands of Americans die. Only then would the US govt use 'any means necessary' and wipe those Islamic fools off the planet permanently.
