Who cares? The prison may be closing but it makes a rat's ass of difference to the prisoners.
All that this means is that the prisoners will have to go to some other jail! I'm sure they'll real enthused about being shipped off to Algeria or Madagascar or some other god forsaken hell of a prison.
Once again, PR wins over the masses.

Here's a bit of info for you. I suggest you read the rest. Obama himself has stated many times he has no intention of just releasing everyone. Very few will just be set free like some bird out of a cage ffs.

They might prosecute 30-40 of them in the US. The rest will go free or nearly free, mostly in third party countries.

I'm confident based on the statements made during the campaign and the President's actions so far that a fair system using due process will be devised to adjudge the guilt or innocence of the prisoners. I suspect many will go through the regular federal court system.
