A: A little, but not much.

I'm 65, and have lived through 9 Presidential administrations. 6 Republican and 5 Democrat. My life and work have seen minor changes depending who occupies 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, but no major ones. With this in mind, I suggest everyone to stay tuned to the events of the day and vote of course, but don't let politics waste your time, and drain your energy. You have more important things to do.

Agreed. Im around the same age, and have seen in my country the same things in politics. Now I just observe the goings on without getting too involved. It comes across as complacency to some. My response to that is that there are 3 types of people in electorate: the eagle - flies high above, observes and keeps to himself; the parrot - vocal with something to say about every thing; the vulture - the bottom feeders and loyal to their party.

Politics is very important.

However, since most politicians are lying, corrupt bastards, it doesn’t make much difference who’s in power.

But there's been no one in US government like Donald Trump and his concept of burning down America to regrow it in his image ever in American politics.

And right now, there is NO more important thing to do than VOTE.

True Christians live like the eagles, not like the vultures and the bottom feeders who squabble about who is in power. Come to think you are more like the parrot ... lol 😀

Thus spake the Trump parrot.

Agreed I’ve heard Christians claim that the devils greatest trick is to convince us that he doesn’t exist.
I think the politicians greatest trick would be to get us to give up and not vote.

I remember when some around here thought that Republicans were dead because Obama was voted in as President.

Everyone wants to blame Trump for things like covid, but look at Cuomo. Cuomo says now you must prove you do not have covid before entering New York. If he can prevent people from entering New York, then he could have done it in January as well. Back then it could have been a 2 week quarantine.

But no, most around here need to blame Trump because he is a Fascist.

Mchill is correct, the white house will go back and forth between Rep and Dem and each will do amazing similar things or have their unique changes changed back.

Who deported more illegals? Was it Obama or Trump? It was Obama.

Politicians want you to vote, they don't want their narcissistic supply turned off.

In the US we get to choose between Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.

After getting elected, the President can claim the citizens elected him to implement his plans.

I remember when GW made that claim, I laughed. Perhaps I should have cried.

Were you trying some rhetorical metaphorical BS on us?

The only ones trying to change America are the ones tearing down statues of Lincoln and Washington etc etc.

Burning down America? Go ask your BLM friends.

Why are you so willingly delusional?
Both sides have been in the wrong but you will never condemn any of the non whites...
Why?
Scared?
You probably think Bill Cosby and Micheal Jackson are innocent 🙄

Exactly!

Christians cannot own businesses in the US without the possibility of having to deny their beliefs.

This is what happens when the government starts treating its citizens as subjects and the Constitution geys defined by political appointees.

@Eladar
Oh? How many children held in concentration camps died under Obama?
