And yes, the plane is already built. It is a used car. Trump saw all the gold in it and said "ooooooh, I want it!" (or, according to AvJoe "Gimme it!!" ) And that's how it became the world's biggest bribe. Tell Trump he can have it if he pays taxes on it as income. He nor Jared ever paid taxes on the last $2 billion dollar bribe.

But the fact remains, they'll have to tear it apart, nut by bolt, remove all the listening and tracking devices, new high tech radar and communications equipment installed, anti-missile systems, extra shielding against EMPs before it can be used by the president of the US.

This is estimated to take up to two years, and cost between 800 million and 1 Billion dollars. So NOT 'free'. He'll get his 2 new (yes, two are on order, talk about government waste, I notice Musk didn't stop that deal) AF-1's direct from Boeing long before they clear this PoS for flight.

Besides there are two other AF1's being built and if his gift palace is used instead, it will cost something like one BILLION dollars to retrofit all the security features that makes AF1 AF1.
So the two being built right now will be dumped in the wastebasket if this grift gift is used instead.

I am with you about the plane. We don't need the plane, and certainly not a fancily decorated plane. Too risky. And I don't want Qatar bragging that Trump fell for it. I like standing alone as leader of the world, and not depending on some sheik's airplane.
