Question for Bernie Sanders

Question for Bernie Sanders

Debates

I have a question for Bernie Sanders I desperately want to ask, as well as his groupies.

Who was/is a better leader, Fidel Castro or Trump?

I don’t think Bernie is a member of RHP.

Considering all the corporate welfare Trump is throwing at the 1% I'd say it's a toss up.

It matters because I don't get how Sanders never seems to critique Castro, only praise him. This is escpecially troubling considering the number of human rights violations he has been known for.

So do Lefties here question this history, or are they indifferent to it? I pray they simply don't believe that Castro was no better than Hitler or Stalin than be indifferent to such atrocities.

In comparison, what has Trump done to violate the natural rights of people? Anything close to what Castro and his thugs did?

Your first sentence is a lie as you clearly know:

Bernie in the 60 Minutes interview: ""We're very opposed to the authoritarian nature of Cuba".

Why do you insist on such constant falsehoods? Is it really worth it to you to do so for political propaganda purposes? Do you give any thought to personal integrity?

Needless to say, your double standard is astonishing; Trump has lavishly praised brutal despots in North Korea, Saudi Arabia and elsewhere.

If he was opposed to the authoritarian nature of Cuba, he has trouble showing it.

He has a long history of praising such brutal dictatorships, and had the opportunity on the debate stage to voice concerns over the myriad of natural rights violations these socialist/communist countries have inflicted on people, but failed to do so. Bernie even spent his honeymoon in Moscow, a time when the USSR still existed and came back praising the system.

Trump, on the other hand, does not have such a history and to try and gain an edge with diplomacy so that Rocket Man stops firing his toys off in the Pacific, may say a nice thing or two about them. Trump never even considered spending his honeymoon in Havana or Moscow or Beijing or NK.

The two comparison are laughable as is your predictable condescending disingenuousness.

Hey, any want to praise Castro's literacy program after reading this?

http://economiccollapsenews.com/2020/02/26/whats-the-real-story-behind-castros-literacy-program-in-cuba/

I bet marauder will.

So I ask marauder, who is a worse leader, Trump or Castro?

I bet he never answers.

I saw this and saw that Bernie is really stepping out of bounds (in my opinion) to just hold hands with Omar, making it very clear what he is all about. He definitely gets respect for stating his intent.

I guess my real issue here is, the Left refuses to look at why socialism, or various hybrids of socialism is so popular with murderous dictators.

It's all about freedom, so the last thing they want if free trade. In fact, to control people restricting free trade is a requirement.

"cooperate welfare"?

Surely you jest. Give me an example of that.

Simply divide up the land equally among all families so they can build their home and grow their veggies, and nobody will ever need any free stuff.

Trump is constrained by our system of government though he and his right wing allies are desperately trying to enhance Executive power far beyond any intention of the Framers. If this paranoid, megalomaniac narcissist had ever grabbed the reins of power in a place like Cuba in the 1950s, he would have been a far more murderous tyrant than Castro ever dreamed of being.
