"Rahm Emanuel is son of the devil's spawn, Rep. Eric Massa (D-NY) said. "He is an individual who would sell his mother to get a vote. He would strap his children to the front end of a steam locomotive."

Rep. Massa describes a confrontation with Emanuel in a shower: "I am showering, naked as a jaybird, and here comes Rahm Emanuel, not even with a towel wrapped around his tush, poking his finger in my chest, yelling at me."

More professionalism coming from Obama's finest. Are the Dems self destructing?

Eric Massa's political career is self-destructing. It is understandable that he might be a bit testy.

Yep! He didn't play ball.

"Mine is now the deciding vote on the health care bill and this administration and this House leadership have said, quote-unquote, they will stop at nothing to pass this health care bill, and now they've gotten rid of me and it will pass. You connect the dots," Massa said on a radio show Sunday, Roll Call reports.

Massa also on a recent edition of his radio show blasted White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel for pressuring him to vote in favor of the president's agenda.

"I am sitting there showering, naked as a jaybird, and here comes Rahm Emanuel, not even with a towel wrapped around his tush, poking his finger in my chest, yelling at me because I wasn't going to vote for the president's budget," Massa said. "He goes there to intimidate members of Congress... He's hated me since day one, and now he wins. He'll get rid of me, and this bill will pass."

My question is if he is against Obamacare and cap and trade then why is he in the Democrat party? They will tar and feather him like they would any Republican. I can only imagine the pressure put on Democrats to vote down party lines on these two major issues. The biggest problem Obama's thug Rahm has is his temper and foul language. Now that Massa has come out with these accusations the gloves are off. The left must now attack the character of Massa and play him out to be a dim wit, corrupt, and/or crazy. In short, they must portray one of their own as a Republican in sheeps clothing.

This ie equivalent to a punch in the face to Rahm and that is exactly what he needed. Its about time people started standing up to the "the machine". I just hope he takes back his plans to retire and see this through. What we need are people to stand up and hold their ground, otherwise, expect more of the same.

Not all Dems are progressives. Not all Dems follow lock step w/the radical agenda of this administration. He is one of them. So,they seek to destroy him.

He will be on our beloved Glen Beck show tomarrow for a one hour sit down for a tell all. I bet every member in congress and the white house will be tuning in.

People say that he is on his way out but if he plays his cards right this might launch his career. I once heard that "W" was the best thing to happen to the Democrat party and I'm beginning to wonder if Obama is the best thing for the Republican party. If the Democrats insist on staying on the sinking ship so be it. Then once they are at the bottom of the ocean politicians like Massa may prevail in his own party.

As opposed to Republicans who are all in lock step with the radical agenda of the right.

Eric Massa was caught in a sexual harassment scandal with a male staffer. Is it your contention that he's innocent?

So, Emanuel accosted a guy in the shower who's involved in a sexual harassment scandal with a male staffer?

Emanuel's a genius!

What better way to intimidate a closeted gay guy than going at him in the shower. Brilliant.

Real life Josh Lyman, baby!

"Is it your contention that he's innocent?"-usap

I don't know. There are two sides to every story and the truth lays somewhere in the middle.

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20000140-503544.html

He told a New York radio station Sunday that the charges stemmed from an incident at a wedding reception on New Year's Eve, which was attended by many of his staff members, Roll Call reports. Massa said he sat down with a group of bachelors from his staff after dancing with a bridesmaid.

"One of them looked at me and as they would do after, I don't know, 15 gin and tonics, and goodness only knows how many bottles of champagne, a staff member made an intonation to me that maybe I should be chasing after the bridesmaid and his points were clear and his words were far more colorful than that," Massa said. "And I grabbed the staff member sitting next to me and said, 'Well, what I really ought to be doing is fracking you.' And then [I] tossled the guy's hair and left, went to my room, because I knew the party was getting to a point where it wasn't right for me to be there. Now was that inappropriate of me? Absolutely. Am I guilty? Yes."

Massa said the staff member to whom he was speaking "never said to me that he felt uncomfortable," and that the harassment charges were filed by another staffer.

I am interested in seeing him on Beck tomarrow to see what he has got to say.

that seems like way too small an offense to resign over.

My guess is that he was set up much like Clinton was by the right. They must have known he opposed key partisan peices of legislation like Obamacare and cap and trade, so they tried to set him up. The only difference being, Massa did not purger himself under oath and freely admits his indiscretion. In addition, he is resigning as where Clinton stayed on to the bitter end even though he was impeached by the House.

Its hard to tell how "the democrat machine" influences these empty suits. The level of intimidation is probably not made privy to us. This is simply a rare glimpse.

i think he probably did something worse and is covering up with this minor pecadillo.

look how long it took to get Jefferson out of Congress, and he was caught with the bribe money in his freezer!
