I thought it would be nice to dive into a non partisan idea I've been thinking of for while now:
Like many of you, I get a massive amount of print advertising from companies and banks offering everything from credit cards, to special deals on vehicles that I'll never buy, restaurants I'll never eat at, or stores that I'll never shop at (like Walmart) Since over 95% of this paper ends up in landfills or recycling centers, I'd like to require all companies to print their advertisements on 100% recycled or at least biodegradable paper. My own business cards and mail correspondence with clients are printed on this kind of paper, and my company is not large. If I can do this, then so can the Fortune 500. What say you all?
@mchill saidIndeed, the only way recycling works is to produce with this recycled content.

@mott-the-hoople saidI do insurance verification and claims submission for doctors. I have no use for ebay, or for silly questions like yours.
so you print your ebay labels on recycled paper? 😂
@mott-the-hoople saidClearly your "book" is very thin, as is your knowledge of this industry.
rates right up there with telemarketers...not considered a “business” in my book.

I know recycling is poor in US but that is disgraceful.
All paper in our household goes into the recycling bin.
Along with metals, plastics, cardboards.
(Glass is collected separately.)
