Now that our beloved Christian pure, goody 2 shoes Republicans struck down Roe v Wade, red states have been passing 18th century laws banning abortions even in the face of rape and incest. So, are these fine Republicans obeying their own laws? No way! They are sneaking into blue states, getting abortions, then slipping back into their holier than thou red states, sitting on their tuffets in churches, noses in the air, wrapping themselves in cloaks of Christian purity.
Idaho and Washington State are just one example, and blue states are fighting back against this hypocrisy. Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson recently said, "We are already seeing a significant influx of Idahoans seeking abortion services in Washington, and since what happens in Idaho directly impacts Washington, that will only increase with this new, restrictive law," Ferguson said in a press release announcing his lawsuit challenging Idaho's abortion ban.
Why can't Republicans practice what they preach?

@mchill saidHow many people are we talking about? Why do you assume they’re Republicans and not Democrats? Do no Democrats live in Idaho? Why do you assume they’re Christians? Are there no non-Christians in Idaho?

Seems like you’re assuming an awful lot.
And Roe vs. Wade was overturned by Supreme Court justices, who included a woman and minority, not by “Republicans.” Roe vs. Wade was terrible Constitutional law and deserved to be overturned.
White men in 1973 found the imaginary right to an abortion in the U.S. Constitution. No women, no minorities.
I only mention the racial and gender makeup of the Justices then and now because many Democrats are obsessed with those subjects.
@mchill saidSo you are against people crossing borders to get an abortion?

@quackquack
It turns out a girl HAS to cross borders, say from Texas to Indiana or wherever abortions are still legal.
@sonhouse saidBut would you prefer she be stopped from crossing borders?

#1 Believe it or not, mchill, not all Idahoans are republicans and/or christian.
#2 Believe it or not, mchill, not all republicans are against abortion.
@quackquack
Er, you mean there is no border between Texas and say, Oklahoma?
I would have SWORN I saw a sign saying you are now in Texas when I crossed over.
But to you it is MUCH more important to sow fear and loathing of people who are not golden white like you and me, I am Irish decent and I loved when I visited Ireland and lived in a number of countries around the world and not on vacation either so I know a bit about borders but all you want to do is WEAPONIZE WEAPONIZE WEAPONIZE.
Till we turn into a REAL authoritarian state, that's your REAL goal isn't it?

IDAFUKKING HO? Sure, there MUST be 2% who are against abortion and for Biden.
Maybe.
@sonhouse saidOne out of three voters voted for Biden on Election Day 2020.

White conservative Republican men with a white republican President at that time.
Either way, no one stopped the right to an abortion in the USA. Just ask Kansas (a deep red state) or Minnesota about that; and many other states.
Roe vs. Wade was terrible Constitutional law and deserved to be overturned.
What was so terrible about it? What's terrible about a woman removing one of her eggs with a rapist sperm-cell in it?
What's so terrible about a woman removing any egg of hers with a sperm-cell in it from anyone, if she is not ready to have another child at present?
found the imaginary
The only thing that is imaginary is freaks as yourself claiming that an egg or glob of cells is a person or baby; along with your phony Christianity.
@kingdavid403 saidYou think only eggs and clumps of cells are aborted? You’re not very knowledgeable on this subject.

@mchill saidAs I've stated before in this forum, they are all against abortion until it happens to them. When it does, they are on their way to the nearest abortion clinic somehow thinking it is different now because it is them, and not someone else.
