JD Vance, author and Republican Candidate for Senate in Ohio, has released a new campaign ad in which he asks “are you a racist?” and “do you hate Mexicans?” before blaming his mother’s addiction issues on immigrants.


This will only get worse.

If this guy is a Trump republican, which is what "build the wall" sounds like, I say he's just a damn liar.

MTG says "build the wall" at every opportunity too. Are brown people THAT scary?

Who is "the other"? Anyone not like them. Granted, this is a huge rainbow of people, from blacks, to homosexuals, to transgenders, to liberals.

So maybe not "racism" per se. But most definitely bigoted. Archie Bunker would see no problem with this ad.

If Ukrainian refugees start pouring into the United States do you think there will be same backlash as with the Syrians? I seriously doubt it. Ukrainians will be welcomed with open arms.

The danger with this ad is that he's owning the "racist" label; kind of like how some women say "I can be a real bitch" as a cool thing to say.

This video has gone viral and been shared an insane number of time. If "are you a racist" or "do you hate Mexicans" catches on, this could become a thing. That phrase could become a badge of honor, like Missy Eliot or Meredith Brooks using the "B" word.
