Outrage continues to grow over a public comment made by a Florida state Republican lawmaker calling for all Palestinians to die.
The remarks came during a debate in the state legislature about calling for a ceasefire in Israel’s invasion of Gaza, which has so far killed more than 10,000 Palestinians, many of whom are children. The assault came after Hamas fighters attacked Israel from Gaza, killing at least 1,400 people and taking more than 200 hostage.
In the speech in support of the ceasefire resolution, the Democratic Florida state representative Angie Nixon said: “We are at 10,000 dead Palestinians. How many will be enough?”
“All of them,” Michelle Salzman called in reply.
Just last month a Republican's answer to "how may Palestinians must die" was "all of them".
She made an explicit call for genocide in front of the entire state legislator...where was the Republican outrage? Where were the endless posts from outraged right-wingers?
Serious question to right-wingers: why shouldn't you be considered disgusting hypocrites given how you've reacted to the Harvard President?

It leads to radicalisation (thought), then to extremism (speech) and then to terrorism (action).
I’ve translated the words from Dutch, off by heart. It’s from a crash course I followed about it at work. Interesting stuff.
By scaling it, you can see how far a society is and second-guess the next step.
And they have set lists for interventions, etc.
However, it all starts with polarisation and that’s a major problem that has to be tackled. And that means opening up communication and staying in communication.
@vivify saidThis happens when people are too close to the conflict. There will be many on the ground in Israel and Gaza who are like that. Their views are extreme because they are in the heart of the killing and suffering and witnessing it first hand.
