Hey, Einstein. 51 Senators would have to vote to impeach Rod Rosenstein, so far very few have even hinted they'll do this, and majority leader Mitch McConnell won't even bring it up for a vote. You might think it's justifiable, but the Senate does not. Sorry to burst your little bubble.

Actually, he works for the American People. And despite the efforts of the "cover up caucus" to obstruct criminal investigations, he seems so far to be doing his job. The Republicans in Congress keep trying to interfere with an ongoing criminal investigation which is an improper violation of the separation of powers; if anything, Rosenstein has been too deferential to their insane demands (Chris Wray, Trump appointed head of the FBI, said in his public testimony he has had to assign 100 staff just to comply with Congressional requests for materials).

Actually it would take a two thirds majority in the Senate to convict.

Mchill said "impeach", which would only take a simple majority.

He's wrong either way. The Senate doesn't vote to impeach; it votes whether to convict.

That would be great; the Donald comes back from meeting with Putin and immediately fires Rosenstein a week after he announces the indictment of 11 Russian intelligence agents.

Maybe he should pardon them, too.

So it's 218 representatives to start impeachment and 2/3 senate to convict. Neither of which is going to happen so this is in fact a REAL witch hunt, with Rebubs as the witches.
I hope they realize the Russians have already won this round by ensuring the major division of US citizens.
I suppose Rebubs are ok with all this.

So you just want to distract from the absolute fact Rosenstein is not getting impeached? Good luck with that.
