Unlike the British Government, the Americans seem happy to take Iraqis who have worked with them home the the US.
However, it is a moot point. Withdrawal while these people need to move to the US will mean it's too early. And withdrawal once Iraq is stable and safe would mean that these people would no longer have to move to the US for safety reasons.

The terrorist attacks in Iraq which show a dramatic increase in effectiveness and cruelty will continue and on top of that will show a dramatic increase in case the troops will be withdrawn from the country. Then these awful attacks will not be on the frontpage anymore and Clinton & Obama & what's his name will claim that it was a good thing to call the boys ...[text shortened]... ops have left.
Not to mention the dramatic impact of the withdrawl on the region as a whole.
