The terrorist attacks in Iraq which show a dramatic increase in effectiveness and cruelty will continue and on top of that will show a dramatic increase in case the troops will be withdrawn from the country. Then these awful attacks will not be on the frontpage anymore and Clinton & Obama & what's his name will claim that it was a good thing to call the boys and girls home. The news will be off the frontpages at last. Then we will have left the peacewilling people of Iraq in the hands of merciless political criminals .... until the next and even more shocking wakeup call then that of Sept 11, simply because too many people fell asleep again ......
All those now calling for troopwithdrawl will be responsible for the massive bloodshed, both [i]within[/b] the States and abroad that will be happening after the troops have left.
Not to mention the dramatic impact of the withdrawl on the region as a whole.

come on man. It can't get any worse than it is now.
Oh, and fyi....Iraqi's had nothing to do with 9/11. They were from Saudi Arabia.

I wonder why the Republicans are trying to appear like they are discussing a withdrawl from Iraq. It wouldn't be because they want to hold on to power now would it?

If there is going to be a withdraw the US would have to first bring anyone who was known to help the US to the US. They could not be left behind in Iraq. How many that would be... I don't know.
However, it is a moot point. Withdrawal while these people need to move to the US will mean it's too early. And withdrawal once Iraq is stable and safe would mean that these people would no longer have to move to the US for safety reasons.
