By morons I am referring to the politicians, not the USA chess players here on RHP

I expressed the same thoughts here a few years back. Personally, I wish this really were more about UK politics.
To answer your question - It's because there are far more morons in the USA who post here than the UK. Europeans are generally better educated and are not as likely to be swayed by American right wing propaganda. i.e. Mexico is going to pay for the border wall, the Chinese dropped rice paper ballots into the ballot boxes from airplanes, stealing the election from Trump, Jewish space lasers are zapping the west and causing wildfires etc. and of course - - America's southern border is "open" (we're supposed to ignore the armed guards, electronic, x ray, airplane, and drone surveillance, traffic check points, drug sniffing dogs, as well as the dozens of arrests and detainments made daily) Only the MAGA crowd is dumb enough to think this is an "open border"

@MartinS saidThere posts about the UK just not as many as there is about the USA.

This has nothing to do with where the HQ of RHP is based and more to do with the membership numbers from the US vs the UK.
@divegeester saidThe number of people who post frequently at the forums is small (a score or so). Total membership numbers from the USA or the UK have nothing to do with forum posts or the skewed Atlantic imbalance.

The explanation, I believe, is that there are two or three trolls here (we all know who they are) who routinely spam up the forums with USA-specific tripe and ludicrous conspiracy theories (mostly relating to Trump and election denial), and they get pushback from the sensible posters here, not all of whom are Americans. If those three trolls were to stop trolling, or be banned from the site, or if everyone else would stop feeding them, the Atlantic imbalance of forum posts would right itself automatically.
Moreover, you have to admit, the political lunacy currently acting out in America beats the lunacy in the UK hands down. I mean, look at RFK Jr. compared to Tony Robinson! Even the sideshow is vastly more amusing in America than the UK.

@divegeester saidI understand, but would have thought that as this is a UK-based site there would be more UK members and thus more interest in what is happening in the UK.

Anyway; God help us all
@MartinS saidWhat boggles my mind is how we have such a large and vocal contigency of trailer trash on the site.

In normal life you don’t bump into so many extreme-right wing, conspiracy driven, fanatics.
@MartinS saidBecause our politicians are exceptional morons. We have you beat.

@Russ saidDollars converted to pounds and spent in the UK. The RHP roundabout.
Developed in the UK, hosted in the US.
