At this point, I don't have any firm opinion on what will happen in 2024 except that Trump won't win.

Kamala has a reputation of being difficult to work with, and there has reportedly been some turnover on her staff because of that.
She was given the perhaps thankless task of seeing what could be done in Central and South America so that people would stay put and enjoy life there instead of coming into our country. Which was a great and belated idea! However, no great boost to her reputation has occurred as a result.
Do American Blacks see Kamala as Black? I doubt it. Coastal academics of spectral sexuality, however, will continue to imply that "People of Color" are a monolithic and homogeneous demographic.
I don't think Biden will resign early, but I think he will probably be a one-term president.
Gavin Newsom does seem like a top choice for the Dems in 2024, probably running against Ron deSantis, who is actually more of an authoritarian than a conservative.
Stacey Abrams can't be VP, because she's already President of Earth in the 32nd Century -- big conflict of interest.
Maybe a wildcard move would be for Newsom to invite Mitt Romney to be VP, or maybe Adam Kinzinger or some other centrist or at least principled Republican (of which -- I know -- there are few). Unfortunately I don't think the across-the-aisle pick would be Liz Cheney. Maybe Kyrsten Sinema? <joke> Who knows what she would do?
Yes, I know it would be better to have a women on the ticket or to make some other show that Americans appreciate our diversity (we don't) instead of mostly always voting for tall white guys.
Celebrating diversity is great, but so is being practical for the sake of winning powerful positions -- in order to use power benevolently, or to refrain from using it, also benevolently (thinking of my Libertarian friend Earl des Trompes here).
It's important to appeal to the independents, and to motivate them to actually vote.
Trans women in sports events is probably not one of their top concerns. I hope that speech-policing by the Dems and book-banning by the GOP are at least in their top five or ten concerns, along with economic concerns -- not so much enforcing economic equality by robbing the middle class to subsidize the poor, but maybe shining some daylight on the economic vampirism that happens at the top under any circumstances, continuing to suck the profit out of our economy even while the rest of us suffer.
