My heart, and the thoughts of us all, go out to Zhalanzi and the citizens of the sovereign countries possibly in the sights of Blood Putin. Let us pray that a settlement is reached. I hope the USA can bring aid. Now, not after it is too late.
I have seen no repotting on Putin’s plans beyond conquering Ukraine. Aren’t there other countries that he considers to be basically under the Russian flag?

If he really tries to reestablish the Soviet Union, Kazhahkstan would be a prime target.

Latvia would most likely be next, though the fierceness of Ukranian resistance and the unity of the Western reaction should give him pause.

I doubt that. Latvia is a member of both the EU and NATO. So is Romania. It would be a much greater risk to attack them; he'd be guaranteeing a direct reaction from the West. Kazachstan sounds more likely, or another go at Georgia.

Yes, he is not a guy to ask anyone for permission.

The insinuation that Biden okayed the invasion is ridiculous!

Absolutely not,
he first asked President Biden.
and to be sure, received permission
from Vice President Harris.
When they both said, ''Go ahead, Vlad, invade''
only then did he unleash his attack. 😛

I'm surprised no one picked up on this.

Lukashenko of Belarus was video'd next to his Battle Map and it showed that Moldova was next for Putin.
Moldova borders SouthWest Ukraine and west of Crimea, and is east of Romania, and is of course, small.

Don't forget the baltics. Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania better be worried too.
At least the NATO nations will have good military backup by all the members if Putin in his dementia tries to attack them. It would be a whold lot different war than the bully job he is pulling on Zelinsky now.

A war like that could end up with Europe and the US owning Russia outright and Putin in prison where he richly deserves to be, a real uncaring murderer.

I’d give his military about a month if he is actually stupid enough to attack a nato member but I really do not think he will now NATO has shown itself to be much more United in opposition to his expansionist policies than he may of assumed from the words and attitudes of the previous POTUS.
Those at threat are countries like Georgia which of course he’s already invaded and who he can invade on the BS pretext that they are on the brink of joining NATO which of course neither country was.
This has zero to do with NATO expansionist policies and everything to do with Putin’s expansionist policies
This idea that NATO aggressively expanded against Russia is an absolute nonsense. After the fall of the last Russian empire those nations that Russia occupied for the best part of 50yrs quite logically we’re desperate to get under the umbrella of an alliance that had stared The Kremlin down for the whole of that period.

@kevcvs57 - said "This idea that NATO aggressively expanded against Russia is an absolute nonsense."

Not so sure about that, Kev.
At one time NATO promised the USSR that NATO would not expand East beyond West Germany. -- LOL!
There has to be a dozen countries that are in that violation. Jeeezus, and yes, the three Baltic nations
are amongst them. And every time a nation does this (joins NATO) Russia feels insulted, ostracized.

But that's life, and I'm not here to solve it, only experience it.

An oligarchic revolt will put an end to the conquest.

@Ponderable
He would be then starting a fight with ALL of NATO including the US.
His army has many problems including top down leadership, the generals want to micromanage their troops but the Ukranian's have bottom up leadership which allows the grunts on the ground to start their own attacks as an insurgency, attack quickly, withdraw quickly. Do that 1 million times....
