That's an oversimplification, and there's a good chance it would have crashed entirely without the extra help. And that would have been devastating.

There was no private equity interested. If they went through bankruptcy without the government bailout, they would not have remain intact but disintegrated.

Do you really want to talk about ads? How about the one with the kids singing? Or the "Big Bird" ad?
Or, how about regular programming? How about MSNBC, who is so completely freaking left wing that they lambasted Romney for collecting for victims of Hurricane Sandy?
Chris Christie rose above politics to praise Obama for his initial response to the hurricane. These puke Marxists that you love so much can't rise above politics to see that Romney did what he was able to do?

GM would have survived. Big companies go through bankruptcy all the time but continue on. I've seen it in the Auto industry and Airlines. It is really a pretty common occurance.

That is simply not true or at least distorted. A bankrupt company will only remain intact if there are investors willing to make that happen. Otherwise, it gets split up and sold, and ceases to exist.
With the recent bankruptcies in the auto industry, there were no private investors interested. It took the government to invest to save the US auto industry.

Care to offer an explanation for the $50 billion in taxpayer dollars to UAW? Care to justify it, given the fact that I don't have a pension?

So you agree with Romney and were against the auto industry bailout?

The kids and the big bird ads are spin, not outright fabrication and blatant lies. The Chrysler CEO specifically said Romney's ad was not true.
MSNBC has nothing on Faux News. Indeed, Faux News is the media wing of the Romney campaign.
