As the beginning of the Republican race, the Paul cult members argued that if the Paul positions ever got out to the Republicans and were well-explained, that Paul could glide to the nomination. And they blamed Paul's low poll numbers on the media, and on the lack of exposure and understanding of Paul by the Republican rank-and-file.
I now wonder if the Paul supporters will ever admit they were wrong and delusional. That no amount of media coverage and no amount of detailed explanation of Paul's positions will ever persuade enough Republicans to vote for Paul, and that it was a pipe dream to think that Paul could win the Republican nomination.

Paul is antiestablishment. How can an antiestablishment kind of guy be endorsed by the establishment?

My, my, the hate for both men is both sad and interesting at the same time.
Christ was probably a nice guy with a good heart; and besides, he's been dead for 2000 years. It would be overkill to hate him.
Paul has some wacko ideas, but he's entertaining. And in fact, it is probably a good thing that his ideas are part of the public debate.

Paul didn't even try to win FL. He knew it would be a slug out between Romney and Gingrich so he let them spend a lot of money damaging each other while sitting it out.
Paul still has 13 million to spend elsewhere. He will do better in Maine and Nevada. Using FL as an example is kind of pointless. Should he have wasted his millions there knowing the Romney super pac would out spend him until he had as much money as Santorum has now?

It is funny how anything he does is called odd. Karl Rove seems impressed.
