“We lead the world because, unique among nations, we draw our people—our strength—from every country and every corner of the world. And by doing so we continuously renew and enrich our nation. While other countries cling to the stale past, here in America we breathe life into dreams. We create the future, and the world follows us into tomorrow. Thanks to each wave of new arrivals to this land of opportunity, we're a nation forever young, forever bursting with energy and new ideas, and always on the cutting edge, always leading the world to the next frontier. This quality is vital to our future as a nation. If we ever closed the door to new Americans, our leadership in the world would soon be lost.” Ronald Reagan

The Europeans will have a good laugh at that nonsense opinion.

Immigration from Hispanic America is right now fueling a Spanish economic boom.

This is of course, the best. Thankyou. Hopefully we will continue to strive for the right way to do this, to bring these people in.
I am not sure why you posted it , as it is a given, as if you might post that there are 3 primary colors.
If your intent is to suggest that we 'let them in', can you tell us if the Biden way was the way to do it.....that seems to be your inference on some posts. Of course, it has been hell, and we will forever wrestle with it. Our resident linker, Marauder, has never told us how we will give 'due process' (trials) to 12 million people.
Anyway, if we had that all cleaned up tomorrow, everyone being where they are supposed to be, what program do you suggest we use to admit them in the future?
Could it perhaps be that of Trump and Holman,, already underway?

Edit: Not to sidetrack this nice issue, but note that Reagan did not mention illegals. The pesky illegals.

Trump and Homan (not Holman, you illiterate) aren't exactly worried about, nor even planning, a path to citizenship.

You could follow your spiritual leader and build concentration camps complete with gas chambers. Ship them in by the boxcarload, just like he did.

Is this included in your Project 2025, or do they prefer guillotines?

It's a pretty sad day when we start regarding Reagan as a statesman, instead of the man that almost ruined America.

If we had Trump (the man that is so busy right now actually ruining America) back then, just imagine where we'd be now.

I just can't imagine.

No answer, Joe?

Typical.
