Vilification of Trump includes how he inherited the roaring economy from Obama. Cool. But now they take a bleak view of the economy. (Just google that phrase). They cannot clearly reject Socialism.

So what is the deal? They want govt to control means of production. How will they sell it when capitalism is doing great.?

Truth is vilification against Trump; and, his worthless worshipers as you boy.
Your statement above proves my point. The economy today is doing fairly well all thanks to Obama's economic policy's.
However, seeing that Trump now has our country adding over a Trillion dollars in debt every year, we can hardly say our economy is doing good. It's all a right-wing hoax and fake news. Our economy is screwed all thanks to Trump and his wealthy fascist Nazi thieves. End of story.

Economic growth has slowed to a paltry 2% a year, there were more jobs created in the last 35 months of Obama than the first 35 months of Trump (and it isn't close), most of rise in lower income workers' wages is attributable to State and local increases in the minimum wage (what you right wingers call "socialism"😉, the government has paid out $28 billion in welfare to the agricultural industry to make up for losses due to Trump's tariffs, the manufacturing sector has contracted for the last five months, corporate debt is at a record high compared to GDP, the federal budget deficit has almost tripled under Trump, millions have lost their health insurance in the last three years, etc. etc. etc.

Our economy isn't "strong" and the Democrats have plenty of economic ammunition to use against the present administration.

Don't you want the U.S. economy to be the best in the world, rather than just better than the Latin American ones?

The economy is just fine.

Trump cut taxes for workers and business, both of whom now have more money than they did before.

The government, despite tax cuts, is also getting more income because the American pie is bigger, aka, growing.

Stocks have reached all time highs, unemployment for afros has hit an all time low.

The economy is fine. Nothing to worry about.

Liberals: "Much ado about nothing".

So you don't want the American economy to be #1 because it would make you feel ideologically uncomfortable?

Thankyou, a thoughtful response, and I bet your fingers are not bleeding, as are the fingers of Sinhouse and King.

So, you present a platform for those dems to lay out. Other than those desiring socialism (i cant say Socialists, cause they wont actually BE the socialists who live up on the hill) , that platform will not likely sell to the rest of us.

Sounds like your whole post is saying that something is not broke, but let us set about fixing it!

Virtually all of the economic ideas proposed by Democrats are supported by the People:

You dare suggest that, given that premise, Trump will lose in November? Sounds logical, come to think of it.

November is a long time away.

I think Trump should be an underdog to win re-election at this point; he's still unpopular.

Just say he is unpopular. That should do it.

I think his rating at 49% was the highest yesterday in 3 years.

You see the confusion which reigns among folks reading lib posts, you are not the only one. I always count on Mott to translate, but he just can't make sense of it. Like what you say above. Does not make sense.

That was one poll; aggregates of polls still have him at negative approval:

Real Clear Politics: -6.3% https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/president_trump_job_approval-6179.html

538: -7.9%
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/trump-approval-ratings/

At this point in his Presidency, Trump has the highest level of disapproval of any President since modern polling started during Truman's term; no incumbent has ever been above 50% disapproval at this point but the Donald.
