@earl-of-trumpssaid In a very strict sense, yes this is racist! But they are talking objectively about
race as many publications do systemically.
Note that the Daily Caller starts out their article here by talking about the Hill's article on same.
[quote]An “aging white population [is] speeding [up] diversity,” blared a headline on The Hill.
[quote]Once again, a Fake News out ...[text shortened]... ke about race is racist.
In other words, despite being technically correct, you left me nonplused
Your suggestion is absurd; those other publications did not publish an article (one of many by this author) explicitly calling for limitation of non-white immigration so that the US could go back to being more "white". The article also blames the growing non-white population for the declining birth rate and growing death rate for whites. Like most racist tropes, the problems in the US are laid squarely at the feet of non-whites and those whites supporting equal rights for them.
"Rep. King recently tweeted a defense of anti-Muslim Dutch politician Geert Wilders and claimed that “we can't restore our civilization with somebody else's babies.” King has doubled down on his remarks in the media.
Brimelow’s Caller op-ed defended King and argued that America should remain white because the “Founding Fathers were all white” and they wanted “‘to form a more perfect union… [for] ourselves and our posterity’ -- by which they literally meant their physical descendants. ... the U.S. was to be a nation-state, the political expression of a particular (white, British) people, as in Europe."
The link to the Brimelow article in the DC doesn't work but the import of the language and his support of King's racist comments are clear. The prime motivation behind limiting immigration in these people's minds is to maintain the white majority in the US.
