Ukraine has roamed into Russia in recent months.
Russia is on the verge of taking major towns in Ukraine.

Ukraine needs to be able to strike Russia harder so they may broker a peace deal.
And is asking the US permission to use US rockets to do just this.

Russia says that an attack of that kind, will be seen as an attack by a nuclear power (directly supporting Ukraine) and will open up their possibilities to basically use nukes on Ukraine.

This puts the US (and the West) in a bit of a pickle. If they don’t allow Ukraine to use their missiles on targets in Russia, then Russia is going to have some major wins the coming weeks / months.
But if they do allow it, there is an increasing chance that small scale nuclear weapons might be deployed (especially if Russia thinks it might lose: cornering an opponent; Sun Tzu).

What do you think? Call Russia’s bluff on this matter? Or temper the chances of Ukraine winning?

The Danish PM said we need to stop holding back and strike deep within Russia:

For Denmark of all places to say such a thing, perhaps NATO is getting tired of Russia and is already contemplating calling Russia on its threat.

The problem is that Ukraine is a proxy and none of the NATO nations will feel the fury of Russia raining down nukes. Unless NATO is willing to defend Ukraine with their own nukes, it would be immoral to test Putin this way.

The survivors unlucky enough to survive WWIII won't be condemning Russia or China.

They will blame NATO.

Why are you assuming Russia is bluffing?
That is exactly why Russians are saying they have to use nukes, to prove they are not bluffing.

Russia has been overly nice throughout this war. They cannot afford to allow continued escalation because it will never stop. You and everyone else will claim Russia is bluffing even if they are not.

What if Russia does use a tactical nuke to prove they are not bluffing? WTF is the west going to do about it? Nuke Russia? And if Biden threatens to nuke Russia how do you know that is not a bluff?

The Danish PM is a corrupt puppet of the western empire. Russia is no threat to Denmark.

Will they? Would you like to give some reasoning?

Why not blaming UNO?

Now that I think about it....

It is Ukraine's choice. All NATO is doing is supporting a country who chose to fight back. In that sense, it's not immoral since Ukraine chose not to give up despite knowing Russia's capabilities.

Yup. Sending hypersonic missiles into residential districts, taking out shopping malls, schools, parks, and civilian power stations. Nice. Nice. Very nice. Just how any civilized nation treats property it considers its own (forever). And anyone who disagrees gets a novichok martini. Nice, nice, very nice indeed.

The US should help Ukraine a bit more and return the 'niceness'. Russia needs a shakedown.

At the start of the war it was popular to claim NATO pushed Russia into invading Ukraine.

The problem with that logic is that NATO had not done anything in the years leading up to the war. They accepted Ukraine's bid to join but after 14 years Ukraine never advanced passed NATO's membership action plan.

Still, some people hold on to blaming NATO for Putin's actions.

War is about killing people. It is an ugly business. Look at what Israel is doing to Gaza and now Lebanon. Israel makes Russia look nice in comparison. Fallujah and Sirte were pretty brutal.

NATO is just at fault for that war in Ukraine. They bluffed Russia into thinking Ukraine would join NATO. They knew Russia would be forced to invade. Reagan would not tolerate Nicaragua and it was no where near the US border. Reagan claimed Nicaragua was going to invade the USA.

If Russia overthrew Mexico by coup what do you think the USA would do? Be honest. Would the USA tolerate a puppet nation of Russia at the US border?

Putin was warning NATO before he invaded Ukraine. What you do not understand is that the USA and NATO bluffed Russia that Ukraine was going to join NATO. Behind the scenes they told Ukraine they would not be accepted into NATO.

The USA and NATO wanted Russia to invade. That was the whole plan. NATO has been expanding to the east for some time. Russia kept warning about it too. Those warnings were ignored. Early in the war a peace agreement was sabotaged by the west as well. The USA did not want peace. They wanted a bloody war.
