This is one of the Facts that I have been promoting for the Forum, what does everyone think about this. Say your 2 children are making do with the Im-personal learning at home, in Zoom school, while face to face is the rule with children who likely cannot speak English, whose teachers are being paid by our taxes.
Any thoughts? I feel sorry for the migrants, but I feel REAL sorry for our children, whom we are trying to develop to be leaders of the future in the United States of America.
The post that was quoted here has been removedNo, and I idon't want to read the name Tump in this thread, either. Same lib cr-p. Your premise is quit weak, by the way. Remember, I wonder what you as mommy would think if you lived on Maple Street in San Diego with your kids in the kitchen, while these migrants are in the nice school, great air, great instructional materials on the pristine walls all over the school, with mature beautiful perfect teachers all set to cater to their every whim about 'catching up' with US children who are FALLING BEHIND! You disappoint me, Duchess. Anything for a fight? So you are OK with your kids waiting on these totally oblivious children from another world??
The post that was quoted here has been removedGive it a rest, Duxchess . Did you read the title of this thread? As soon as I beg for no mention of Trump, you lib-up on the thread and go into your SO-IMPRESSIVE knowledge of countries around the world!!!!! Wow! Why dont you enlighten us all with the coup in Bruma while we are trying to get to the bottom our deprived children in San Diego. Jesus. Try the issue, Duchess. Don't be a loser.
The post that was quoted here has been removedDuchess feigns a bit of erudite on occasion, she can really spot misspells, loves to say 'sic', so cool, so boring, so overdone.
Then she gets weaker on this thread, she says that I 'first mentioned Trump' on this thread. She is right about that. I asked everyone, like Sonhouse as an example, to not mention the name on this thread. Everyone put our faith in the Duchess, quite the leader! Singapore!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!? Great points from the Duchess. Misspell, who mentioned Trump, and Singapore. Hell, what is this thread about, I've forgotten! Children being shut out of a USA education. Maybe she is into a Singapore education (where they put you in jail for throwing a gum-wrapper on the sidewalk...look it up). Why does this person keep mentioning these countries,,,.I'm thinking bad experience. She is probably in a hut somewhere in south Minnesota.

lets clear the facts (as reported by the source you gave):
* The migrants in question are taught in detention centers by teachers on their own time.
We can conclude that all migrant children who attend regular schools are taught the same as children of US citizens. True or not?
@ponderable saidAnd thank you, being on issue. Dont know more than the article, but i think the teachers continue to draw taxpayer-funded salaries. So, there is pay.

And yes, we can conclude that if there is a school room with american and migrant children in the room, one teacher, that she is Teaching them all the same thing together.
@averagejoe1 saidWell the work they do in person is additional to their teaching duties, or so your article says.

It is there for not really a preferred treatment of migrants over regular pupils? Since in the regular teaching all pupils are treated equal.
@Duchess64 -
And Singapore's much more prosperous now than it was when the white British ruled it.

"white" British...?
So as to distinguish it from.. what, black British rule? 🤔
