Anybody else getting a chuckle out of Brittany Spears being hauled off to the loony bin? Is it wrong to gloat over the misfortunes of other people? Why does it feel so good?
The grim reality is that many mothers are no good at being mothers. But you can't say that in the United States.
BS is just a bad mother and probably a worse wife. That's sad, but not very funny. By the actions of the paramedics, we can infer that she probably threatened suicide. Thank goodness the father seems to be somewhat responsible and a HUGE thank goodness that some of anti-male bias of the courts has been overcome.
Growing up in the US, I heard from a very young age that everything was "men's fault" and women were basically perfect. Finding fault with male behavior was routine -- but the reverse was rarely discussed, no matter how inappropriately a woman behaved.
What a rude awakening one gets later.
Originally posted by Sam The ShamNo Hillary is cold and calculating, she has been planning this run since she has been with William Jefferson Clinton. From the information I have heard, and the stories I read, and her behavior over the years, she is the more ambitious/power hungry member of the Bill/Hill team
Hillary is insane.

I just can't stand her. But, in her defense, what other response but laughter is appropriate to the question "Why do you have such a partisan view of politics?".

A follow up story says she's been released. Dr Phil visited her at Ceders on the day of her release and there is talk of them having her on his show.
Mental illness or long way home rehabilitation strategy by marching powder publicist?
It seems if you air your sins and dirty laundry on a prime time show like Dr Phil long enough maybe enough people will understand and 'forgive' you. Which is variety speak for they will willingly buy product from you again and advertisers will be able to use your image again.
What is truly amazing with the Brit phenomenon is the judgment of her albums being a 'failure' only because they were being compared to her initial stratospheric success. She becomes a failure when she 'only' sold 13 million copies of her 3rd album. Some artists don't even sell that in a lifetime.
Anyway, just something else instead of the hatred pointed towards mah Hillary.
