Oops....meant Constitutionally Illegal.. The Court has found that racial preferences are unconstitutional for public education and unlawful for businesses, But Biden is promoting a Quota System, which has been out of date for over 40 years. If his candidate is the most meritorious then fine, but to single out black race, and female sex, as principal criteria, is lawfully, and morally, wrong. Diversity may be one thing, but excluding all male or non-black nominees, regardless of their credentials, is simply over the edge. Even Biden policies that prioritize black farmers for pandemic relief,... that was struck down by the courts as wrong,' racial discrimination'.
A rising tide lifts all boats. The Trump program of tax cuts and regulatory relief so benefitted the economy and filled it with new opportunity that it was the bottom half that outperformed the top half, and in that Bottom Half, benefitting the most, were the African Americans.
Growth, not redistribution, or racial preferences, is the key to solving poverty and reducing inequality in our free enterprise capitalist society.

First ya' say that The Government can't
make your choices for you, now you say
BIDEN's own choice is against the law?
Make up your mind ya' can't have it both ways.
Anyway, The President can choose whoever he
wishes, for any reason he wishes and it is up
to The Senate to, 'advise and consent.'

Jim it was the government that took that choice away, so don't blame us, we just follow the law now

Why do right-wingers suddenly become pillars of logic if holds back the most marginalized groups in America?
Where was this racial enlightenment when Trump pardoned Joe Arpaio, who treated Hispanics inhumanly and denied them their rights? Or when your president shouted out the Proud Boys (a white supremacist group) during a presidential debate?
See, it's really hard to give a flying fuk about you or any of your pseudo-intellectualism. Where was this heightened racial justice when a black man was chased and murdered for jogging through a white neighborhood? Where was your fukng logic when a white cop knelt on a black man's neck for almost 9 minutes? NOW you're concerned about race?
Right, apply "logic" now, when being a woman finally works in her in favor instead of burdening her with the immense weight of sexism. Don't apply logic when doing so could improve lives or bring justice; apply "logic" to stop those very people your deliberate lack of logic oppresses, from actual rising up and taking power for a change
All you conservatives can go f yourselves.
@earl-of-trumps saidThee procedure for appointing a Justice is provided for by the Constitution in only a few words. The "Appointments Clause" (Article II, Section 2, clause 2) states that the President "shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint ... Judges of the supreme Court." The process of appointing Justices has undergone changes over two centuries, but its most basic feature—the sharing of power between the President and Senate—has remained unchanged: To receive appointment to the Court, a candidate must first be nominated by the President and then confirmed by the Senate.
[SNORT]... ah hemmmmm. Here's how I look at it.
I find Biden's stance morally repugnant. Which means, of course, democrats are in love with it. 😍 😍 😍
Political considerations typically play an important role in Supreme Court appointments. It is often assumed, for example, that Presidents will be inclined to select a nominee whose political or ideological views appear compatible with their own. The political nature of the appointment process becomes especially apparent when a President submits a nominee with controversial views, there are sharp partisan or ideological differences between the President and the Senate, or the outcome of important constitutional issues before the Court is seen to be at stake.
Additionally, over more than two centuries, a recurring theme in the Supreme Court appointment process has been the assumed need for professional excellence in a nominee. During recent presidencies, nominees have at the time of nomination, most often, served as U.S. appellate court judges. The integrity and impartiality of an individual have also been important criteria for a President when selecting a nominee for the for The Court.

Where was I, vivify...? you racist, bigoted lying *PR__K*?? I was right HERE saying how bad it was.
Bleep you, race baiter
@averagejoe1 saidIt's only "over the edge" because you are a white male and can't stand anyone being considered before someone "like you". Well boo freakin' hoo. There are candidates who have never been considered merely because of their skin color and their lack of a y chromosome. This must be corrected. And if it means some white boys get all butt-hurt over it, then that's simply too damned bad.

@jimm619 saidToo bad all the racists here just assume that no black women could have that "professional excellence".

When a black woman gets a promotion you thought you were more qualified for, *you’ll* be the one boo freakin’ hooing.
I’ll bet you’re all in favor of raising taxes as long as *your* taxes don’t get raised, and I’ll bet you’re all in favor of affordable housing as long as it’s not in *your* neighborhood, and I’ll bet you’re all in favor of illegal immigration as long as they don’t live in *your* neighborhood, and I’ll bet you’re all in favor of defunding the police as long as *your* 911 calls get answered promptly.
Right?
