SCOTUS rules we follow law of TPS for Haitians

You obviously didn't even look at the decision.

No one made the ridiculous claim you invented. But to terminate a TPS designation, certain procedural steps are supposed to be followed according to the law (at least the way Congress wrote it).

Alito took an eraser to it though.
He laughed at the 3 women, Marauder. Do you realize that they judged the case not on the law, but for political reasons? Or because they felt sorry for the Haitians ?? That is why they want to keep Haitians here, screw the law.
Hey did you look up temporary? Sue having trouble with it too.

Pitiful.

Who determines if the Executive Branch is obeying the laws Congress passes?

Do you really need a course in Poly Sci 101?
Are you going to answer Mott? Fed judges,,,,do they have a say?

So America should just stop trying? How does a shining city on a hill stay shining? By giving up? With great awesome power comes great awesome responsibility. While the USA was a beacon of light for freedom and democracy the world was more than happy for it to increase its power. But without that veneer of civility and leadership it devolves into a crass gimme all the stuff sand pit bully. Is that what you really want?
? We just yesterday promised $150M to Venezuela earthquake disaster.
UK? You?. Only about $2.3 million.
Do you really think we don’t try? Really? Won’t waste my time. Google USA aid to the world. How much more you parasites want, we are a bit stretched.

Is it one millisecond? Is it five million years?

Tell us EXACTLY how long is 'temporary'?

You obviously think it's not as long as has already elapsed.

How long, exactly, is temporary?

Again, just answer the question. Don't grandstand.
I answer all questions. Conservatives need not grandstand.
So did you like my answer? Tell me how I can make it more clear ๐Ÿ˜‰

So what are they supposed to do when they come to this part?

“There is no judicial review of any determination of the Attorney General with respect to the designation, or termination or extension of a designation, of a foreign state under this subsection”

[b]are they supposed to keep reviewing, or call the dogs in?
They are supposed to read in the context of which it was written to give effect to the entire law Congress wrote.

IF the Executive Branch follows the requirements of the preceding paragraph, then the determination can't be reviewed. But what if they don't? Does that turn "shall" into "if they feel like it"?

Do I really need to say anything more?

So you really don’t want to follow the law?

You know you are looking like an idiot don’t you? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคก

You're too much of an idiot to discuss this with as your constant evasion of my questions makes clear.

Does "shall" mean "if they feel like it"?

Are you for real? Temporary isn't measured by the calendar; it's measured by whether the emergency still exists. If the emergency is over, temporary should remain temporary.. Go back.
Put another way, if temporary last forever, which you seem to think it should, temporary is defined as long enough to solve the emergency that justified it. Stay with me here....... It is ...[text shortened]... aiiiirrr? There really are other wretches in the world, you know. You pickin and choosin are you??
So it's just "whatever Trump decides"?

Sorry, but that's not nearly good enough.

Could it not go another six months and still be 'temporary'?

Of course it could.

It is what the provincions of the TPS dictate. Like any law, you, a judge or a jury go by the tenet of the law.
Suzanne, if you follow, it is the same as the law of the constitution. We go by what the constitution says. Do you agree that we should go by what the constitution says. I assume you do, so you would agree then that you would go by what TDS regulations are.

Boy, you really got me there. But in any event, they have been here for 15 years. And I will elaborate by saying there’s no reason that they cannot go back home now. You would have to tell us why we would keep them here ……that would be a stitch..

Trump decides?!?!?!?!?!?!
No no no the law decides. The nine judges at Scotus decide a lot of things based on constitution and on the legality of a law.

Not Trump. The law speaks for itself, all we do is execute it. We really don’t need Scotus or Trump to do that, do we. We see the law, we act on it. Theoretically, you and Sunhouse and myself would all go to Washington and dig up this law and say the Haitians need to go home now. That is an oversimplification but now you get it …..all we would do is point out the law. hopefully we would still have ICE around to send them home.

Try Googling how many Africans will die by 2030 because of the cuts to USAID.

You simply don't give a damn. ALL you care about is your selfish tax cuts and getting brownskins deported.
