I think we should kick Texas out of the union.
This is despicable under ANY circumstances.
Deliberately wording it to avoid crossing SCOTUS, vigilante justice, anyone can come in and sue someone who helped the abortion and most women don't even know they are pregnant at 6 weeks but do the fukking sick ass repubs give a crap about ANY of that?
So the vigilante deal, what about other states adopting the same strategy? Maybe a lib state gets laws passed that can sue a gun seller or such when someone is killed, the number of ways this law can be used by other states for a lot of freedom issues.
What happens if 90% of US states adopt the same tactic for abortion and for anything else the state legislators come up with.
@sonhouse saidI imagine that this decision, if left

standing, will really set up a RED vs BLUE
state antagonism....Two odd thoughts;
By most polls, some 60% approve of ROE;
also, as a matter of law, a state law CANNOT
nullify a Federal Statute so, in essence, according to
Chief Justice Roberts, this ruling is, itself, unconstitutional.
@sonhouse saidIf we kick them out who will protect Texas from Mexico?!

@sonhouse saidi want to see a democrat governor with big enough balls to do the exact same thing for guns. Or religion.

@contenchess saidWomen know how to get pregnant. Or conversely, how not to get pregnant. That means they choose to get pregnant, or to not get pregnant. Every liberal on these threads is in denial.
You gotta be dumb as a rock to not succeed at contraception.
How dumb are these people?
Safe sex is essentially contraception so I just don't understand how so many women are getting unwanted pregnancies?
Are they against safe sex?
They feign being dumb. They ignore that the constitution does not speak to abortion. They ignore rights of due process, which a baby(that is what a mother calls the fetus in the womb, they do not call it a fetus)….Which a baby has as a right to life. Liberals deny due process to a baby in the womb. They cannot deny that, but, they sure can write paragraphs about it, although I don’t see many links about, it since there are none.
@AverageJoe1
The FACT JACK a woman does not even know usually she is even pregnant AND it is NOT a "BABY" either.

but 100% of them know they did something that could cause pregnancy.
@shavixmir saidholler back when men can get pregnant, you might have a point then. oh wait, in your world men can get pregnant right?
Best chop off men’s balls.
No balls, no unwanted pregnancies.
Or… maybe wear a condom, if you don’t want women flushing your unwanted babies down the toilet.
This should be an easy case for SCOTUS to strike down. You can't sue someone for a legally protected right. This is like suing for interracial marriage.
Even if you go by the laughably short six week period: how do you prove in court how long a woman has been pregnant? Such information is protected by HIPAA privacy laws and the person suing has no way to know if it's been six weeks or not. In fact, whether or not a woman even got an abortion is protected by HIPAA.
This is an open and shut case. The Texas law is unconstitutional and clearly meant to be a loophole to deny basic rights.
@mott-the-hoople saidIf a woman chooses to get pregnant, which I have proven that they do, it is up to them to decide if they are pregnant. If they do not know, or let anyone else know like taxpayers, I do not know why we would be responsible for her pregnancy. I just don’t get any of that.

but 100% of them know they did something that could cause pregnancy.
If I take a risk and buy something that doesn’t work, I cannot hold anyone but myself responsible for that.
There is no difference. If the girl next-door finds out she is pregnant this morning, what does that got to do with me? I just don’t get it.
@sonhouse saidIt is not a baby? Tell me this, if a twin is born, and placed on the table in the operatory it is a baby. If the other twin takes three hours to be born, when does it become a baby? Most prudent people would have to say it is a baby when it’s twin is a baby. What is your take on this….JACK?

Can I say now that your answer is wrong, or do I have to wait to hear your answer? Whew
