You all have heard him say he wants to kill parts of the constitution, he says he will be a dictator on day one, wants to pull out of NATO, incarcerate 15 million people here legally, put even more children in cages and do a 20% tariff..
My serious question is this:
Do all you right wingers think it is time for a real dictator, that you actually want the end of democracy here, that our system of government is so screwed it needs to be destroyed from within and Trump says he will pull the broadcast license of CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC, put media journalists in jail because they criticize Trump, which is one of the founding fathers idea that media people should be able to hold government accountable but Trump wants to quell all critics.
Is this a case of right wingers just not believing anything like that will happen, that Trump won't follow through with the things he said where we ALL heard what he has said.
So is it the right wing consensus that democracy is a failed experiment and needs to be replaced by an authoritarian? That is exactly what will happen if Trump is reelected.
Is that what you all want? The time of democracy is over?

The sad thing is some of them really do. Many of them are so weak, frightened, and indecisive, they feel only a dictator can bring safety and order to their lives.

As to immigrants, there is no way he is perfect, and no way he can get rid of all of them, let us chalk it up to wishful thinking. It is his way of giving us all his position. So he is blustering to let us all know that he means business, and maybe he will indeed find a way to send them the hell back. I have heard of an investment in a trucking company gearing up to take them back! Do you like the border to be open, millions of us do not. The wheel turns..
As an aside, if tomorrow my daughter is faced with a man in a swim meet, or if an illegal immigrant, assaults my daughter, my present position on the swim meet and on illegals would not change. I have read that Sonhouse never suggests restricting 150 country citizens flowing in illegally. I have seen him not respond to a man swimming against he daughter in a swim meet.

I don't think you understand how close we are to literally losing our democracy.
Democracies are fragile as has been shown in countries around the world and if you think it can't happen here you are sadly mistaken.
