Current asylum laws are based on what happened to the Jews before WW2, turning away boats, some of whom died in concentration camps. You call that system "broke"... I guess becuse you hate Jews?

Anyway, as a result, no administration has legal authority to deny asylum to someone who asks for it. So everyone who crosses the border has to be processed.

Republicans denied the money to expand the processing system. So people have to be released while waiting their turn.

Republicans CREATED the problem and BLAME Democrats for it. You are nothing but slavering, small-minded hypocrites.
