Progressives will have a standard bearer, and I suspect she'll draw liberal money from all over the country.
Obama can't back Scott Brown, but I suspect he and Tim Geitner will be happy if she loses. I bet he gives her no support whatsoever. Given that she was pretty much the only bona fide liberal in his administration (actually, she wasn't even technically in his administration), obviously he had to can her.

"Scott Brown's truck,"
The truck is just for show to try to illustrate that he's a working stiff. He drives a fancy SUV most of the time. He also lives in a very high end community in Wrentham, MA.

Except that Scott Brown's last election, wherein the truck featured prominently, was also in Massachusetts. As in, she's more popular with them than Bernie Sanders, but without the baggage to alienate her from the center.
Don't get me wrong. Brown has the edge as a moderate incumbent who hasn't had the time to really piss anybody off yet. But he's going to have to raise some money and campaign hard.
