The UN does a few useful things through its agencies. I'd abolish the UN Security Council though as it does nothing but justify the aggression of its members against smaller nations in contrast to its original mission of attempting to keep world peace.
The post that was quoted here has been removedNothing. There is no need for an organization for military self-defense of the great Western powers and NATO's mission has been perverted so that it is now a vehicle for US aggression against weaker nations. As such, it gives convenient propaganda cover for such aggression, but accomplishes little else.
