If the Congress, 50-50, meets on Monday to vote on this question, what would you like for their decision to be. You may say what you would like it to be, but what would you want it to be? And certainly the discussion could lead to follow-up questions, but this would have to be resolved first. Eg, you might say ‘what about green card holders or people who work and pay taxes but are not citizens’………All good questions, but please answer main question. It is a fair question .
Surely you don’t want to haggle over an analogy about people show up on an island, being not citizens of the tribe there.

Some non-citizens have lived and worked in the U.S. for years. I can see a case for letting certain non-citizens vote.

@averagejoe1 saidvoting has been corrupted by mail in voting and drop boxes, judges usurping the power of state legislators etc , so it really doesnt matter as long as those are allowed

@mott-the-hoople saidWrong, wrong and wrong. Try again.

If it wasn't for Republican gerrymandering and making voting as difficult as possible, they'd never win another election again.

@mott-the-hoople saidSo greater access to the democratic process = less democracy, any idea how effing stupid you sound, even on a forum that boasts MB and Average Joe?
