The Oslo accords, which were the best hope of resolving the Arab-Israeli conflict, failed because Arafat gave Israel everything they had been demanding while receiving exactly nothing in return:
- Israel was recognized as a state (e.g. the ‘right to exist’; still true to this day for the PA in the WB)
- The PA renounced violence (i.e. ‘Israel’s right to security’; still true to this day)
BUT the Palestinians did not get anything:
- not self-determination
- not statehood
- not East Jerusalem as a Palestinian capital
- not the right of return for Palestinian refugees.
Since then, the Palestinians in the West Bank, who are still at peace with Israel, had a wall built to take more of their land, had more of their land confiscated and given to Jewish settlers, had more restrictions on where they could move, and had more people killed by the Israeli army.
Hamas, which was elected in 2006 because of Fatah’s dismal failure to achieve anything through Oslo, ALSO offered peace with Israel in 2008. The reaction? Palestinians in Gaza were placed in an open-air concentration camp for 16 years.
So the question arises: what exactly are we expecting the Palestinians to do? They have been bending over backwards to give Israel what they say they want but receive nothing back.
Israel plainly wants more than they are admitting. What the Jews want is more and more clear: ethnic cleansing, if not genocide.
Let’s be clear: The Jews want to do to the Palestinians something similar to what Hitler did to them. Gaza is now destroyed. The Palestinians will have to leave because there is no food and water. Israel will then expand in. Where will the Palestinians go? No one will know - or care. Should they instead die in place, as martyrs before an indifferent World?
Lebensraum, anyone? That was the Nazi policy of creating 'living space' for the 'Chosen People.'
There really isn’t any other way to think about it.
But The World has to decide whether they are OK with that. If we are OK with it, then...

One of the dumbest of people, Palestinians, who have squandered billions of dollars over the last 30 years in trying to fight a superior force, the Jews, cannot possibly force anyone to do anything.
If anything the Palestinians should force themselves to do the right thing instead of living to hate and kill Jews. They are sick people and heed psychological help to get out of this mess.
@spruce112358 saidThe deserve nothing. When your aim is to kill another race, nothing will go well with you. The Jews have prospered and from 1948, when they were nothing, to now they have become a respected world power.
BUT the Palestinians did not get anything:

No little pissing group of people are going to stand in their way, so step aside. ... lol . 😀
@shavixmir saidPalestinians's future has always been in their hands and under their control. In 1948 they could have decided to accept the UN Partition Plan. and take and reasonable share approx 47% of Palestine {which they now want by the way, but too late..], but they chose war and wanted all of it.
Well, this thread is proof that there is nasty on all sides.
Even when Hamas assumed control of Gaza, they could have opted for peaceful co-existence with the Jews and use that $1,000,000,000 US annually to improve Gaza and make that place a paradise. But again they chose the side of evil and death. They chose death to Jews, they indoctrinated their kids, they built tunnels, the invested in military hardware, all while their people suffered.
Palestinians are their own worse enemy... doomed for failure.
@spruce112358 saidRegarding your chosen heading, who do you think is going to kill Jews? I can remember well about 40 years ago when the Jews started eliminating nuclear power from the hands of these Islamic regimes, and assassinating their nuclear scientists, people condemned them. But I say, God was with the Jews. By now all these Arab states would have had nuclear weapons. Now all they can do is talk.
But The World has to decide whether they are OK with that. If we are OK with it, then...
@Rajk999 saidPlease re-read the original post.
do the right thing instead of living to hate and kill Jews.
The Palestinians have offered peace on numerous occasions. The Jews have never accepted peace. It is the Jews who live to hate and kill Arabs, or, more reasonably, force them to live elsewhere, which is ethnic cleansing.
Israel is a nation founded on ethnic cleansing which they seem to be quite proud of. Hitler also liked ethnic cleansing. The Nazis were experts at it.
I don't know why a group of people would adopt the mentality of their previous persecutors, but apparently, "be careful you don't become what you hate" has an element of truth from a psychological perspective.

Racist scum bucket.
@spruce112358 saidPost a link where I can read where Palestinians offered peace, and let me prove that you are a habitual liar.

@shavixmir saidWell, I think Jews are very capable of moral introspection, Jews should be reacting in horror to what is being done in their names.
Well, this thread is proof that there is nasty on all sides.
But I think they have been subjected to a fanatical propaganda campaign put forth by their own government, and also suffer under a government-controlled press. And - nobody wants to believe they have become the bad guys. That's just human nature.
That's why The World (if we are as good as we think we are) needs to step in forcefully and militarily and sort this mess out.
But The World won't do that because haven't reached that level of civilization yet. Give it another 500 years.

Complicity is a funny thing. One may regret it later, or not. One may just try not to think about it - I think that's what most Germans did after the war.
@spruce112358 saidI read it and its from the same biased nonsense media from which you always quote. Palestinians were never interested in peace. They want the whole of Palestine from the river to the sea and this is clearly stated in their charter. They want no Jewish government. This is the same thing you are saying. You want Jews dead and you think these idiots should call for the death of Jews. You are part and parcel of Hamas.
Please refer to my original post. You can read the reference there.
What they are now realising [and you should too] is that they cannot win the Jews in any war. So they hoping to negotiate their way into a 2-state solution, which they rejected. After this round of violence on Oct 7th, they are not even getting that. The only thing they getting now is what their Charter of 1988 calls for, and that is death.
