On boycotts of Sporting Events: How many Events have actually been devaluated by the boycotts in the past? I remember that Germany (FRG) boycotted the Olympics in Moskow. But the results are still in the books. A lot of sportspersons were disappointed to have been robbed of sometimes their only chance to compete… same four years later in LA (this time GDR..)
