Or, leave them the hell alone? This will be money they win on the backs of MANY others, to blow at their will. Is there any lib here who will come forward, after many demeaning threads of people who have money they did not earn, and tell us your true feelings of leaving this person alone, or attacking their 'ill-gotten'; gains. I know, I know, you dont like AvJOe, but what about this person. What are we to do!!??!!????

It should be 441 separate one million dollar prizes.

441 different people becoming millionaires is better for the economy than one person winning all of it.

The lottery system needs to change 🤔

"Ill-gotten gains" = Apple using sweatshops to make iPhones. Not someone getting lucky.

Did Vivify just avoid a simple question, .......like, does he have a beef with Apple, the computer phone company, and is using my private thread to voice his complaint?? Can he not take it elsewhere? I can understand libs not being able to answer simple questions, but why highjack an innocent thread??

You are obscenely retarded.

Your OP alleged that libs have a problem with anyone being wealthy, and that we think of lotto winnings as "ill-gotten gains". I was merely correcting your false assertion with an *actual* example of "ill-gotten" gains.

In America, winning $441 mill amounts to winning $22.05 mill for 20 years.
If you want it all NOW, prepare to get a heavy reduction.

THEN, they tax it all

A. You don't know if I like you or not, so please don't assume such things.

B. I don't care about lottery winners, or the people who play the lottery, so to answer your question: What are we to do? My answer is - Nothing at all.

C. Why do you feel the need to add things like - !!??!!???? in your posts. It looks childish.

Yeah, it's all taxed.
I was surprised to learn
that, even prizes, on game
shows, are taxed.

You are right, too much !?!?...will refrain from that.

As to Item B above.....I have this question. There is no question that liberal policies are about equality, equity, whatever. Spreading the wealth, etc., many phrases about the same thing.
So in your plight to relieve rich people of their riches, to be spent as the govt sees fit, why would you say here that the $400M can be treated differently? That, 'Nothing at All' will be done about seizing a portion of the $320M that will be pocketed by The Winner after taxes?

True but capital gains tax still applies.

So the money you won isn't taxed but if you buy something like a mansion and sell it later you have to pay the capital gains tax.
Still better than the USA of course 😉
