Here is a little crash course.
YO visit the home of a guy for dinner, whose several siblings there have all had divorces. 4th sibling is there with her new husband, Sam, who does not know the family that well. You say, hey Sam, don't bother taking your coat off, you wont be here that long.
Great off-the-cuff humor. A lib would rather hear that in the form of a joke. As a matter of fact, a lib might find that offfeeennnnnnnsive.
